The Year “Amoris Laetitia Family” continues through June 26 at the World Meeting of Families in Rome. The Gospel Weeklies seek to support the important role of families and consider every year a “Year of the Family”:
- In every lesson, you will find Family Corner (Seeds, Promise, and Good News) or With My Friends and Family (Venture and Visions) feature with activities, questions, and prayers to help parents extend the lesson into the home.
- Our unique weekly approach of four- or eight-page student lessons allows children to take their lessons home to share with their families.
- The Teaching Guides for Seeds, Promise, and Good News contain suggestions for sharing every lesson with families.
- Customers can also access two online resources designed for enhancing parish-family connections:
- The Gospel at Home: Designed for busy families, The Gospel at Homeprovides a short description of the Sunday Gospel plus suggested activities and discussion starters for each age level. These easy-to-do ideas will bring families together to share what each member has learned about the Gospel they heard on Sunday (and studied in class). Print them out to send home or send as a link in a weekly newsletter. Available in English and Spanish.
- The Gospel for All Ages offers ideas and plans for prayer services, parish-wide gatherings, and small group discussions—all based on the Sunday Gospel message. These online resources help you build on the foundation of the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies(preschool through Grade 9) by providing cohesive, parish-wide catechesis for families.
