Have you heard about the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States? Did you know that at their June Plenary Assembly, the bishops of the U.S. affirmed advancement of the cause of beatification and canonization of Servant of God Adele Brise, the lay woman to whom Mary, the Queen of Heaven, appeared in 1859?
As adults involved in the faith formation of children, we all may be inspired by Adele’s words to Mary: “What more can I do, dear Lady?” and Mary’s response: “Gather the children . . . and teach them.”
