As we prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus, it’s appropriate that we celebrate two significant feasts that honor Mary, his mother. The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated as a Holy Day of Obligation on December 8.
