Our Guest—Speaker and Education Specialist Mr. Oscar Cruz
Oscar Cruz is the Catechumenate/OCIA specialist for Bayard, Inc. He has served as the director of the Catechumenate (RCIA) for the Archdiocese of New York from 2005 to 2024. He holds a master’s degree in religious studies from St. Joseph’s Seminary, Yonkers, and received his BA in Education and Theology from Manhattan College. Oscar is a frequent workshop presenter on the OCIA, Family Catechesis, and Adult Faith Formation in the Archdiocese of New York and in other dioceses around the country.
