January Is Poverty Awareness Month

As we make room for Christmas gifts we’ve received, we should keep in mind that the month of January is Poverty Awareness Month. Starting the new year with this in mind may lead us to thank God for our many blessings and resolve to explore new ways to assist those who live in poverty through charity and efforts to address the systemic causes of poverty.
