When asked about their heroes and role models, young people often list favorite athletes, singers or bands, actors, or social media influencers. We need to give them some holy heroes to put on their lists of role models.
Saints were real people who, despite challenges, persevered and were faithful to God. They are now in Heaven and can intercede for us. Here are resources about some saints whose feast days are in October:
