Jesus uses stories to tell us things about faith and about ourselves. In Sunday’s Gospel, he challenges us to grow in faith. This Gospel is wonderful for families because parents are responsible for “tilling the soil” for their children to grow strong in faith.
During these summer months, let’s take advantage of the beauty of God’s Creation to talk to our children of the immense love that our Father in Heaven has for them. We can talk about God’s love while watching the sunset or while walking along a nature trail. These conversations will remain in our children’s memories forever!
