The Responsorial Psalm for this 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time could not be more appropriate for the hard times we are experiencing as a human race. “Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation” is the verse we repeat four times during this Sunday’s Mass. This verse could be our prayer throughout the week and whenever we encounter hardship or suffering.
Blessed are you, O Lord, who made Heaven and earth! Help us trust in your infinite power to rescue us from hopelessness and despair. Keep us near your heart on this earthly pilgrimage. Amen.
