On March 25, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. On this day, we remember the Good News announced by the archangel Gabriel to our Blessed Mother Mary—God had chosen her to be the mother of his Son. She gave her consent to God’s proposal. In that instant, the history of humanity was changed once and for all: God’s Son became incarnate through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Make sure to use the Annunciation activity (page TG4-26) in class or send it home with the children.
