Sunday’s Gospel shows how Jesus’ mission for all of us works. Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. He tells her about a different kind of water that he offers: a living water that makes life eternal with God. The woman sees that he is the promised Messiah and immediately evangelizes the local villagers. They too come to accept who Jesus is after listening to him teach for two days. Like Jesus, we share his Good News and invite others to “drink” the living water from God.
