SUNDAY’S GOSPEL—February 11, 2018 – 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Author: David Dziena ~ January 29, 2018

Mark 1:40–45

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus adds to his growing community. By touching and healing a leper, Jesus shows us that God’s love is for everyone. People in Jesus’ time feared lepers and made them live apart from others. Jesus’ reaching out to the leper gives us an example to do the same for people whom many consider outcasts and outsiders.
