2. Bread is a common food in most parts of the world. Jesus wanted his Body to be available to everyone.
3. Jesus compares himself to a grain of wheat to explain the di erence his Death will make for his followers. A wheat seed that is planted will grow into many seeds. Jesus’ Death grows into the saving power of the Resurrection.
4. Jesus’ Death is like planting a seed because a seed must die to bring new life. Jesus died and rose again to bring us the chance of life in Heaven after our deaths.
5. Eucharist is the sacrament when we receive Jesus’ Body and Blood to nourish us and help us become more like Jesus.

2. Passover is the Jewish feast that remembers how God rescued the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
3. Jesus started the Sacrament of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. Another acceptable response if the Sacrament of Holy Orders.
4. Holy Week. Any combination of three of the following is acceptable: Jesus is greeted as he arrives in Jerusalem, Jesus shares the Last Supper with his Apostles, Jesus is cruci ed (and/or any events of his Passion), Jesus rises from the dead.
5. Adore means to worship or honor. We adore the cross on Good Friday.
