l Sci: Prior to class, cut up strips of paper with different objects on them (cars, train, meteor, rocket, house, fence, etc.). Arrange small groups and give each two strips of paper. Then have
them use Newton’s Third Law to design a solution to a problem involving the motion of two colliding objects. Supply necessary measurements for each group. Students will then present their designs to the class. (NGSS.MS-PS2-1)

Saints and Feast Days to Celebrate

l April 21: Saint Anselm, Bishop and Doctor of the Church – An original and independent thinker, Anselm became one of the Church’s greatest theologians and leaders. He was also admired for his patience, gentleness, and teaching skill. An opponent of the slave trade of his time, his care and concern extended to the very poorest people.
