What the Church Believes and Teaches
Prayers to Know: Glory Be to the Father (page 33)
Help the children locate page 33 in their Catechism handbooks. They will soon be taking these books home with them and will need to know where to find the prayers they want to continue learning and praying during the summer months.
Review the Sign of the Cross and note that we name the Three Persons of the Trinity in it. Explain that the Glory Be to the Father is a prayer of praise to God. In it, we name the Three Persons of God in the Trinity too. Help the children learn this prayer by saying a line and asking them to repeat that line after you. You may also wish to share this hint with parents.
Have the children close the What the Church Believes and Teaches handbooks and return to Seeds, pages 2–3.
