Catholic Identity Project of the Week
With the religious education team at your parish, organize a walk around the property to sing and offer prayers in praise of Jesus. Coordinate with the other classes and invite the entire parish to attend. Consider having the children recite a poem or sing a special song they have learned.
Saints and Feast Days to Celebrate
l March 26: Saint Margaret Clitherow – During the difficult days of the persecution of Catholics in England, Margaret remained faithful to her Catholic faith, even to the point of going to jail. Pray: Lord, help us to be faithful to you even when doing so isn’t popular. Amen.
l March 29–April 1: Paschal (Easter) Triduum – This “three-day festival” is the high point of our Liturgical Year. Beginning with the evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Thursday), it continues with the Good Friday service, reaches its peak at the Easter Vigil Mass, and concludes on Easter Sunday evening. Plan to participate fully in this great festival!
