Saints and Feast Days to Celebrate
l April 8: Divine Mercy Sunday – The story of Saint Faustina Kowalska—and, of course, God’s boundless mercy—reveal the inspiration behind the Divine Mercy devotion. Sister Faustina had a vision of Christ that has become known as The Divine Mercy. Pray: Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.
l April 9: The Annunciation of the Lord – Normally celebrated
on March 25 (nine months before Christmas), this solemnity is transferred to the Monday after the 2nd Sunday of Easter if March 25 occurs during Holy Week. On this day, we celebrate Mary’s yes to God’s invitation to be the mother of Jesus.
