Curriculum Connections
l Health: Have the students think about a day when they
felt really good about life/themselves/the world. Ask them
to journal what was happening for them emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually on that day. In a class discussion, without asking them to share very personal information, ask them to make connections between the interrelationship between these types of health. Repeat for a day when they felt average or not that great. (NHES.1.8.2)
l SS: Have the students pick a historical event they have studied. Ask them to identify and explain multiple causes and effects of the event. (D2.His.14.6-8)
