Brainstorm with students different ways Jesus might call the Twelve today (TV commercial, magazine advertisement, YouTube video, etc.). In small groups, have the students design an example of how today Jesus might invite the Twelve to join him. (ISTE2016.1d, ISTE2016.6a)
l SS: Have the students research modern-day fishermen. Ask the students to write a report on the cultural and economic lives of these fishermen. They should also include how the environment factors into their lives. (D2.Geo.4.6-8)

l January 25: The Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle – “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” Jesus asks Saul (Paul) in Acts 9:4. Known for his prosecution of Christ’s followers, Saint Paul soon believed in Christ after this revelation on the road to Damascus.
