Curriculum Connections
l Health: Give each child a simple outline of a person. Discuss the many ways we can be healthy. Have the children color in their persons and check off where they are healthy and any places where they might not be healthy (i.e., broken arms, scratches, etc.). Be mindful that sickness and disease might be present
in their families and that disabilities do not necessarily make someone unhealthy. (NHES.1.2.2)
l SS: Ask the children to explain why people all over were talking about Jesus. Discuss with them the relationship between cause and effect in events. Give the children a list of events they know about. In pairs, direct the students to explain probable causes and effects of the various events. (D2.His.14.3-5)
