It’s often difficult to do what is right and good. Celebrate good deeds
to remind your group how wonderful it is to do what is right. Invite nominations of good deeds done by group members. Select one for each person and share it with the group.
Saints and Feast Days to Celebrate
l March 15: Saint Louise de Marillac – Saint Vincent de Paul thought peasant women would best understand the needs of the poor. He sent Louise on missions, and she began to train women to serve the poor and sick. These Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul established 40 houses throughout France. Saint Louise is patron of social workers.
l March 17: Saint Patrick – Patrick served as a missionary in Ireland and is credited with converting the people from a Celtic religion to Christianity. In the dioceses of Ireland, this day is celebrated as a solemnity and a holy day of obligation. Along with Saints Brigid of Kildare and Columba, Patrick is the patron of Ireland.
