Math: Show images of objects found in a church. Identify the quadrilaterals, rhombuses, rectangles, and squares in the images. Invite the children to draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not fit into any category. (CCSS.Math.Content.3.G.A.1)

Catholic Identity Project of the Week
Sometimes it is difficult to clean up the areas of our lives. Have the children make coupon books for their parents. Coupons should be for things the children will do (i.e., clean their room, wash the dishes, vacuum the family room, etc.). Discuss that this gift celebrates this week’s Gospel.
Saints and Feast Days to Celebrate
l March 7: Saints Perpetua and Felicity – Perpetua was an educated noblewoman and new mother; Felicity, a pregnant slave. Imprisoned and martyred during intense Christian persecution in the third century, they are patrons of mothers and expectant mothers. Pray for mothers, especially those with young children and babies.
l March 8: Saint John of God – An orphan from the age of eight, John was a soldier, farmer, shepherd, and health-care worker. The group he founded became a worldwide organization that helps the sick, poor, and people with mental illness. Saint John of God is patron of hospitals, nurses, the mentally ill, and the dying.
