In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus begins his public ministry at a wedding feast at Cana in Galilee. He saves the groom some embarrassing moments by providing a fresh supply of wine. Jesus demonstrates that he brings people together in joy and that he uses human events to convey his message that the Kingdom of God is at hand.
