In Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus teaches us that from the beginning of Creation, God made men and women to join together in love. All of us are social beings who are created for making bonds of love and friendship with one another. Those bonds become inseparable in marriage. This reality underlies the lifelong, faithful commitment the Church celebrates in the Sacrament of Matrimony.
En el Evangelio del domingo, Jesús nos enseña que desde el comienzo de la creación, Dios hizo al hombre y a la mujer para que se unieran en el amor. Todos somos seres sociales creados para el amor y la amistad de unos con otros. Estos lazos se vuelven inseparables en el matrimonio. Esta realidad sustenta el compromiso fiel, por toda una vida, que la Iglesia celebra en el Sacramento del Matrimonio.
