Happy Birthday, Mary!

Happy Birthday, Mary!

302

Nine months ago, Catholics celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception—that feast day that honors the fact that God freed Mary from the stain of all sin, from her conception through her Assumption. How do we honor Mary on her birthday? Certainly it’s appropriate to remember her by praying one of the many Marian prayers—the Hail Mary; the Rosary; the Memorare; Hail, Holy Queen. Share this Happy Birthday, Mary! activity page with your students and families. It offers a special gift you can offer to the Blessed Virgin—a prayer from Saint Stanislaus Kostka. Also, you may help your students become more familiar with Marian terminology, from Assumption to Visitation, with this glossary.
