SUNDAY’S GOSPEL—February 25, 2018 – 2nd Sunday of Lent

Author: David Dziena ~ February 20, 2018

Mark 9:2–10

Sunday’s Gospel story of the Transfiguration gives us a glimpse of Jesus’ Risen life after the events of his suffering and Death. This event gives us a vision of Christian living. It gives us a notion of ourselves transformed by the power of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection. Each season of Lent is another springtime in our journey of faith—growing to be people who are like Jesus.

See The Gospel at Home (English, Spanish) for suggested family activities and discussion starters related to this Sunday’s Gospel.
