SUNDAY’S GOSPEL—February 4, 2018 – 5th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Author: David Dziena ~ January 30, 2018

Mark 1:29–39

Jesus brings God’s life-giving, healing power to the people of Galilee. The Gospel portrays Jesus as a man of action who raises up Peter’s mother-in-law, heals the sick, and frees the possessed. He also seeks time to pray. We are all called to imitate Jesus’ compassion and love for people.
